Marquette

My first home. Marquette was the placed I lived the longest. Having moved so much during childhood, I had never truly known a place for years before Marquette. I moved here for college, and then stayed a few years after that. It’s the first place I ever consistently had a name (I even remember the day I realized I was a community member… sigh, so sweet).
Marquette shaped me in countless ways. It was all I needed at that time. A safe harbor, a place to grow, slow but sure. I rediscovered my passion for photography here, found community, and began to truly step into myself.
